What was I doing before I discovered podcasts? Who knows, but now podcasts are my thing! If you don't know what a podcast is, it is an audio talk show available to listen to through an app on your smart device. There are multiple podcast apps to listen to your favorite shows, my favorite platform happens to be Castbox.
I find some of the best podcasts by searching the word "mom" in the podcast app search bar. Sometimes I subscribe to shows and other times, I simply listen to an episode that resonates with me in the moment. My favorite time to listen to a podcast is while driving in the car alone. I also listen while cooking or cleaning. I'm sharing with you today a few podcasts that I think are worth a subscription. Check them out below.
1. Respectful Parenting: Janet Lansbury Unruffled - Respectful Parenting is a podcast that answers listener questions about various parent issues. The answers and advice given is based on respectful and peaceful parenting values. Janet Lansbury's work "informs, inspires, and supports caregivers of infants and toddlers across the globe, helping to create relationships of respect, trust, and love."
2. The Mighty Mommy's Quick and Dirty Tips for Practical Parenting - This has been my go-to show lately. This mama has multiple aged children and I feel that she gives the best tips to handle anything mom life may throw!

3. Motherhood Sessions - This podcast lets listeners hear therapy sessions with moms addressing motherhood issues. This is a heavier podcast but the advice given can be used in similar personal situations.
4. Simple Families - A wonderful podcast discussing simple living, minimalism, and positive parenting. My favorite episodes are the shows about minimalism and de-cluttering.
I hope you check out these podcast recommendations! I listen to over 20 shows and I will be sharing the rest in future blog posts. Let me know what some of your favorite mom podcasts are in the comments below. Until next time.
