Atlanta Fall and Winter Events You Don't Want to Miss

Happy Fall everyone! I hope you enjoyed the festivals this summer had to offer. Now I would like to round up some family friendly fall and winter festivals for you to enjoy. Check them out below.

1. Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade - September 21, 2019. A family friendly nighttime favorite. Feel free to bring your own lantern to walk with in the parade or just enjoy watching. 

2. Old 4th Ward Fall Festival - September 21, 2019. Before watching the lantern parade, stop by the O4W fall fest to enjoy food, a kids area, music, and build your own lantern for the parade.  

3. Sandy Springs Festival - September 28-29, 2019. Pet parade, art, food, music, and a children's area with rides, games and crafts. 

4. Atlanta Streets Alive - September 29, 2019. I can't wait to hop on the train to enjoy a car free Midtown! Still deciding on if I'll bring my bike or just enjoy the walk.

5. Old 4th Ward Arts Festival - September 28-29, 2019. Food, vendors, live music, and a kids play area. 

6. Ghost Tours - October 2018. October is the start of all things spooky and my kiddo is obsessed with being spooked! We went on a ghost tour last year and had such a fun time. The ghost tours are in Lawrenceville, GA but are well worth the drive!

7. Candler Park Fall Festival - October 5-6, 2019. Food trucks, live music, and a children's area. 

8. Fall Festival On Ponce - October 12-13,, 2018. Art, food, music and a kid's zone.

9. Halloween Hikes - October 25-26, 2019. The Chattahoochee Nature Center will be hosting family not so spooky nature hikes this October. It your little one loves being outside, this would be perfect for them. 

10. Little 5 Points Halloween Parade and Festival - October 19, 2018. Perhaps the best parade of the year, Ava and I excitedly await this parade every year. There are costumes everywhere, music, food vendors, and just an all around good time! This is the one event that you shouldn't miss.

11. Dinosaur Trick Or Treat - October 26, 2019. 10am-2pm. The Fernbank Museum is hosting it's annual Halloween Party for kids. We are museum members and will be attending this event for the first time this year!
