What's In My Mama Bag: Spring/Summer Edition

The weather is finally beginning to warm up to enjoyable temperatures. My little lady and I both love spending time outdoors, going to the park, festivals, anything fun! I recently purchased the BEST diaper bag that I have ever had and I have had a ton of bags since Ava was born! Ava is 5 and isn't in diapers anymore but she still has "stuff" that we need to carry around on our outings. Would you like to see this beautiful bag and a few of the essentials that we carry along? Check it out below.

This is the Ipack Diaper Bag also known as the best bag that I have ever purchased!! It comes with a changing pad and has about 11 pockets throughout the bag. Talk about organized! What I love most about this bag is that it can be worn on your shoulder and as a backpack! Depending on what we are doing, I need my hands free and a backpack is very useful. But on days that we are hanging out at the museum, a shoulder bag is stylish.

You absolutely HAVE to buy this bag, it will seriously change your life. Let's look at a few of the items that I carry in my bag. I usually always carry  water wipes and fig bars with me, but for the warmer months, I like to add a few more things to my bag.

1. Contigo AUTOSPOUT Stainless Steel Kids Water Bottle - This is probably a given lol. When kids are playing and having fun, it is important that they remain hydrated. I find that water bottles with straws work well for us and most younger children.

2.Natures Gate Kids Block SPF 50 - It gets super hot here in Atlanta, but even when it isn't hot you still want to protect your skin from harsh sun rays. With this sunscreen, you get sun protection without the harsh chemicals.

3. Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer - Hand washing with sop and water is always recommended but sometimes there aren't any sinks available. We have been using this hand sanitizer since Ava was born, I kept big bottles around the house and eventually began buying the smaller bottles for travel. This will do the job until you can get to soap and water.

4. Babyganics Natural DEET-Free Insect Repellent - Sun's out, bugs out! I feel like we use so much bug spray in the spring and summer! It's like all the bugs in Atlanta team up and say "hey, lets go bite Ava!" I try to keep Ava in leggings for as long as I can to protect her from the bugs, but when the heat is too unbearable, this bug spray helps a lot.

5. Mamaearth Chamomile Oil After Bite Roll On for Kids - Because no matter how much bug spray we use, Ava always seems to get bit. We will be trying this roll on for the first time this season.
6. Deluxe Necklace Fan - Did I mention how hot is gets here?! We love being outside and I want to make our outings as fun and comfortable as possible.

7. Bike - Of course a bike doesn't fit in my bag, but I do like to toss it in my trunk for bike riding on sunny days. It tires the kiddo out which makes for a great nap later!

I am super excited to hang with my little lady during these warm weather months. We have already started going to festivals as festival season starts in April. What are you carrying along in your bags? Do you love the bag that you have? Let me know in the comments! Until next time.
