I can't believe it, I officially have a 4 year old daughter! Four years ago today, I had a little person that would change my world forever. It is so fun and heart warming to see my daughter grow and develop into a person that will change the world someday! So, in honor of her 4th birthday, I wanted to share a few fun facts about my daughter Ava.
1. Ava loves to do art. She is actually pretty good at drawing. Here is a picture of a gumball machine that she drew outside a few days ago. I make sure to keep art supplies in stock and clean paper on her easel for whenever the creative urge comes along. We participate in the art class at our local museum, but I think I may need to enroll her in an official art class.
*This post is in collaboration with PediPed Footwear.
2. Ava's favorite color is pink. I think I may have had an influence on that! I was recently contacted by a representative of pediped and Ava was able to pick out a pair of shoes. pediped is a shoe company that creates footwear that promotes healthy foot development which is especially important for growing children. pediped has technology based shoes such as machine washable, waterproof and even vegan footwear! We live a vegan lifestyle which includes not eating or wearing animal products.
I pulled up the vegan selection of shoes on the computer, my little unicorn child picks out the Flex Leah Rainbow shoe and I could't say no, what an adorable choice! The Flex Leah Rainbow is a vegan shoe with the Flex Fit System. Ava loved wearing her adorable new shoes on her birthday! They matched perfectly with her birthday shirt.

3. Ava loves to read. We take weekly trips to the library and she tries to read every book on the shelf. She likes to look at books alone but she loves when I read to her. Lately her favorite books are poetry books and classic fairy tale books like Cinderella and Snow White.
4. Ava loves the water. She loves splashpads, beaches, pools anything with water. I'll be signing her up for swim lessons soon, we are both excited for that.
I am excited for what this new 4 year old life will be like. Ava is doing well in homeschool and is learning new things everyday, she has her own thoughts and opinions, likes and dislikes, and I am making sure to treat her with respect so she will learn to treat others with respect. Make sure you check out PediPed and I will see you on my next post!

ReplyDeleteAh Happy Birthday Ava! I love 3 and 4 year olds. They are so fun, imaginative and want to learn. 2 years olds are still immature and the 5 year olds are trying to be independent. My youngest is 4 but he's crossing into 5 soon and then it will just be new excitement. She has cute shoes and reading is an awesome thing. Her art will keep you forever smiling and a child that loves water is refreshing especially in the summer.
