Happy New Year: Goals and Plans.

Happy New Year everyone! It has been a great start to the new year. I managed to get in a few outdoor runs and Ava got in some playground time. Playground time is essential for us, Ava starts to get cabin fever when we are indoors for too long. I even went to a vision board party, didn't finish my vision board though because we sat and talked all night long! I love being around good friends.

I wanted my first post of 2016 to be my goals and plans for this year. I make a list every year because it helps to remind me of things that I want to do and it keeps me organized. So here are my 2016 goals, plans, and visions:

1. I would like to run an official 5k or possibly a 10k. This was a goal from last year, I run 5k in my normal exercise running, but this year I would like to officially sign up for a 5k race.

2. 52 Week Mom Challenge. I found this challenge on Pinterest and it is a way to help you bond with your child and grow as a parent.

3. 52 week savings challenge: because who doesn't need to save money.

4. I would like to blog 1-2 times a week.

5. I would like to read 1 book a month. I am already late, I am supposed to be reading Sistah Vegan for a book club meeting, and I haven't even purchased the book! But I am reading Shopoholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella.

6. Photography. I would like to learn my camera better and learn to take better pictures. I have even enrolled in a photography class.

7. I would like to take more (free) Coursera classes. (I need to make time to sit down and learn the class content)

8. I would like to meditate and journal daily.

9. I would like to enroll in yoga classes.

I also have one secret plan for this year. I don't want to mention it just in case it doesn't happen. But for the most part, I think all of these are achievable. I just really hope I am able to keep up with blogging. What are some of your plans for 2016?
